Stress Management Using Mindfulness Meditation

"Mindfulness meditation is a powerful tool that can help individuals manage stress by fostering increased awareness and acceptance of living in the present moment. By focusing on the present and practicing techniques like deep breathing, guided imagery, and other relaxation methods, mindfulness meditation can help reduce stress and improve overall well-being."

Person-Center Therapy

This is an approach to psychotherapy in which (you) the client receiving treatment directs the therapeutic experience according to your own needs and desires. As your therapist I will provide you with support and empathy and display the right attitude to help you during the counseling sessions. Person-centered therapy works off of the assumption that people have a self-actualizing tendency, which will lead them towards growth and health. In addition, as a person-centered therapist I accept the client and make them feel comfortable to share significant aspects of their mental health. This is an important distinction because it emphasizes health, or potential health, rather than an illness."

Individual Talk-Therapy

"Talk therapy, also known as psychotherapy, is what mental health professionals use to communicate with their patients. The purpose of talk therapy is to help identify issues causing emotional distress. Talk therapy may serve as a safe place to discuss feelings and emotions triggered by daily stressors, relationship issues, mental health conditions, grief and loss, or the impact of a specific trauma. In general, a talk therapy session lasts about 45 to 50 minutes. The severity of your symptoms and the treatment plan your therapist develops determine how often you go to therapy and how long you continue. Initially, you can expect to attend therapy once a week. Weekly sessions give you the chance to develop a relationship with your therapist and adjust to the process. The frequency of sessions may decrease as you develop coping strategies and begin showing signs of improvement."

Couples Counseling

"Couples counseling is a type of psychotherapy that includes marriage counseling, premarital counseling, and family therapy (Gupta, 2021). It is typically a short-term form of counseling that can help partners improve their relationship at any stage. Couples counseling can help clarify relationship roles, assist with sex and intimacy issues, improve communication and connection, and help partners deal with life transitions or external stressors."
